Hey, I'm Ken.
I'm the portrait photographer behind iii Visuals, and if Khronicles of Ken rings a bell, that was me too. Same photographer, sharper focus. After years of shooting a little bit of everything, I rebuilt this studio around the one thing I care most about: making people look like themselves on their best day. I'm based in Tuscaloosa–Northport and work across West Alabama — in studio, outdoors, or in your home.
Why "iii"?
The name is the promise, three i's deep.
Iris — how I see you. Before I light anything, I pay attention: how you carry yourself, what makes you laugh, where you're comfortable.
Image — the craft. Intentional light, honest color, retouching that polishes without erasing you.
Identity — the point. You should recognize yourself in these photos, not a stranger in better lighting.
Seen, not just photographed. That's the whole job.
What to expect
Most clients say the same thing before a session: "I'm not photogenic." You don't need to be — direction is my job. You show up, I handle the rest, and somewhere in the first twenty minutes it stops feeling like a photoshoot. I shoot headshots and personal branding, beauty and portrait sessions, and individual, couple, and family portraits.
